从深度方面而言, Edexcel IGCSE物理Physics多以基础知识为主,内容考察的并不深。
Edexcel IGCSE物理Physics难度不大,力、热、电磁、波及原子物理知识量还比较多,在学习的过程中还是需要更加细心和仔细;
考试侧重于对基础知识的理解, 需要将一些概念的理解 ,现象的解释都掌握牢固。此外,还需要提高实践操作能力。
【学习目标】
从头到尾梳理知识点:要求学生参考大纲和老师整理的详细笔记梳理知识点,确保没有遗漏;
总结课堂笔记:每个Topic涉及到的关键知识点都要理解透彻,结合自己的课堂笔记、课本或者一些网络上的学习资源进行相关知识理论的理解总结;
了解每个物理符号代表什么,以及它们的单位;明确哪些关系定律是任何情况下都适用的,哪些是只适用于特定情况的:在理解的基础上做完总结:图表的形式进行归纳整理,一些解题思路和过程也要多做总结 ;
有重点的定期回顾:
把重要的公式定义都列出来:包括符号的含义和单位都要整理,复习完一些公式和定义后都要做几道练习题,测试自己的同时也可以巩固记忆加深理解;
刷历年考试真题:做完题后对照评分标准来给自己批改,仔细研究一下评分标准,看看如何才能拿到分。同时在做题的过程中,把自己薄弱的topic区域标记下来,再复习一遍。

Edexcel IGCSE物理Physics考两张试卷Paper1和Paper2
Paper1考试时间是2小时,满分110分,占总成绩的61.1% ;
Paper2考试时间为1小时15分钟,满分为70分,占总成绩的38.9%。
题型有选择题、简答题、计算题、拓展开放性问题。允许使用计算器。
