It is as lucky to have a good （neighbor） as unfortunate to have a bad one.  In real life, some （neighbors） are admired like role models while some are who, for lack of mutual respect,  you would love to hate; but most others are considered somewhere in between.  Perhaps, what makes you a desirable （neighbor） is simply having enough traditional common sense, such as 1） behaving yourself and 2） understanding the people living next door.

First, have respect for yourself. To be a most wanted （neighbor） , probably nothing is more appropriate than behaving yourself without passing the conventional limits.  Common sense has it that you should strictly play by the rules acceptable to （neighbors）， and should not do anything to the contrary.  So, to your best judgment, you had better be as much careful with a number of things you must do as with some other things you must not do under any circumstance.  Only by so doing can you earn that kind of respect which you deserve. Second, have respect for others. Understanding your （neighbors） is key to having a respectful relationship.
