◆ Ivy LIU
本校专职教学总监、专职高级培训师。此前一直担任广东外语外贸大学专业教师,教授英语口语、综合英语、听力、阅读、经贸英语等课程。Ivy Liu是英语听说浸泡式快乐交际教学法创始人之一,擅长教授英语口语、听力、阅读和IELTS(雅思)口语。教学经验丰富、教学方法灵活多样、教学应变能力强、能够把浸泡式快乐交际教学法发挥到极至,因此教学效果优秀,受到各个层次的学生的欢迎和爱戴,多次获教学成果奖和优秀教师奖。她所教的《新概念英语》(New Concept English)、《走遍美国》(Family Album USA)等课程是学生的爱。主要著作:《英语听说愉快教学探索》、《简明汉英搭配词典》、《法律英语核心教程》、《论文学风格的翻译》、《曹操的四言诗英译问题探讨》等。

Originally from Cumberland, MD, USA, I have travelled, and worked in different countries and for the last 5 years I have been in Guangzhou. Prior to coming to ILC I have worked in numerous positions, both as a teacher and as a private English tutor, so I have had a chance to teach students of various ages, backgrounds, and levels of English proficiency. I pride myself on my ability to connect and communicate with any student, whether they are 12 or 52 years old, and on being able to create a positive, engaging atmosphere in the classroom. In class I do not just teach the language itself, but I also try to educate students about the western culture, traditions, customs and the life in the west in general.

加拿大籍商务英语专家Bryan Hoover,精通商务英语,教授Market Leader (1-4册)等商务英语教材多年,心得体会颇深,善于从商业道德等角度引导学生探讨商务及商务语言学习,善于发掘学生潜质。Bryan口音纯正,语音清晰,幽默风趣,个性突出,感染力强,授课技巧精湛,课堂设计有创意,深受学员喜爱。耐心细致,喜欢陪爱学习的学员聊天。Bryan曾担任高等教育出版社《商务英语翻译(汉译英)》(2007)的主审,其专业能力获得好评。

澳洲籍培训师,具有丰富的商务英语教学经验,擅长演讲。他是我校主打的商务英语主导老师,其商务案例分析无不让学生佩服。除了课堂理论教学,他还非常注重带领学生进行实地商务考察学习,让学生能有机会学以致用,更好地掌握商务知识和提高口语表达能力。
◆ Peny
新西兰籍外教,拥有着九个兄弟姐妹,家中排行老三。出自于书香门第的Peny 继承父愿,成为了一名教师。自1986年,Peny 受雇于新西兰教育局,拥有新西兰教师注册局TRB颁发的教师资格证、奥克兰师范学院文凭、新西兰维多利亚惠灵顿大学授予的ESL(英语作为第二外语的教学专业文凭),历年来所教学生包括大中小学以及各机构商业人士,曾先后任教于澳大利亚及韩国等国。
关于教学理念,Peny 认为,教育是终身的,教师是领路者,应该激发学生的潜能和天赋,鼓励学生大限度地发展。教师不能一味地灌输语法词汇,因为学生不是空无一物的容器,而是一个个鲜活动感的个体,等待着老师的引导。

I am Enya, approachable and patient. I tend to be strict and tough on students. Having been dedicated in English training since I graduated from university, I mainly aim to help students improve the fluency and effectiveness in communication. I make every effort to inspire students to think independently and encourage them to speak actively, so that effective interaction was enhanced. What's more, the way I instructed students to practice in virtual situation is really beneficial, because it contributes greatly to show students how to speak naturally like the native speaker does.
